Artist Statement
My interpretation paintings are a personal reflection of my life and a current documentation of current affairs. I use a mix of letters, symbols and shapes to form these striking works. Each has words that relates to my state of mind, or things which have a personal connection. They are a snippet of my life as an artist, a moment captured. A captured past reflection into the artist being. Some words are more obvious than others, and I like the fact that the viewer has to work to understand what is being shown and can usually make up words which were never intended to be seen.
